Blanc is a woodturner from Switzerland who comes from a family of artisans. He uses green and indigenous wood inspired by the natural world as well as focusing on contemporary environmental issues often merging other materials such as glass, acrylic and bronze. Blanc trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Geneva earning CFC Carpenter and CFC Cabinetmaker in the late 90s where he discovered woodturning and sculpture. He is the recipient of multiple awards and is an active exhibiting artist showing his works globally.
